I have just updated openvpn from v2.4.6 (002) to v2.4.7 (001) on my Windows 10 PC. Installation file: openvpn-install-2.4.7-I601.exe It seems that the TAP-Windows Adapter V9 is not signed properly and does therefore not work under Windows 10. I guess this might also be the reason, that the openvpn services cannot be started. The Windows 7 installer will work on Windows 7/8/8.1/Server 2012r2. This is because of Microsoft's driver signing requirements are different for kernel-mode devices drivers, which in our case affects OpenVPN's tap driver (tap-windows6).
