I rebooted the PC and still got the ACCESS DENIED msg on Notepad. I thought I had better return the access in C: but now can't get in because access is denied! When you say 'reinstall fresh' what exactly is that? PS. I hadn't changed my pc name. Now I can't get into my C: drive at all!
