Opendns + Openvpn? – OpenDNS These two are related like Open Mind and Open House, i.e. not at all. Depending on your OpenVPN installation and configuration, you will not be able to use OpenDNS for your DNS lookups when being connected through a VPN, but you will be using the DNS service configured at the remote (server) side of the VPN instead (which could be OpenDNS).
